Younger children often use crayons that are easy to write with, but they soon get dirty or peel off the paper around them.

It would be a waste to stop using them because they are dirty, even though they can still be used. In this issue, we will introduce a method to revive dirty crayons so that they can be used for a long time.

What to prepare to clean

(1) Baby oil
(2) Cotton swab
(3) Tissues
(4) Scissors, cutters, or other cutting tools
(5) Wax paper
(6) Double-sided tape
(7) Wrapping paper

Steps to clean crayons

Clean with a cotton swab and a drop of baby oil.

First, clean the crayons from the inside of the box that holds them. Dab baby oil on the tray that holds the crayons and use a cotton swab or tissue to clean the crayons.

wipe up

Wipe off the baby oil. Now the box is shiny and clean.

peeling off a roll of crayons

Next, remove all of the crayon wrappers. Most of the crayons should be sticky with the colors of other crayons.

Rub with an oiled tissue

Put some baby oil on a tissue and rub the dirty part of the crayon. This will clean the crayon. Shaping the tip to make it easier to draw in a round shape will give it a cleaner appearance.

Cut wax paper and apply double-sided tape

Prepare wax paper of your favorite pattern or color, cut it to the size of the crayon, and attach double-sided tape so that it can be stuck to the crayon.

Wrap around crayon

Wrap wax paper around the crayon. This will bring the crayon’s appearance back to life in one fell swoop.

Clean the outside of the box.

Next is the outside of the box. Cut the wrapping paper of your choice to a size larger than the box. It is fun to use a pattern that children will enjoy or a stylish pattern.

Stick it on the box

Paste the wrapping paper on the box. You can put the same paper on the lid as well.

summary

Now, the dirty crayons are clean to the box.
