Undiluted acetone can be purchased at large home improvement stores. This is a compound that dissolves well in fat-soluble substances and serves to break the bond between the adhesive and what has stuck to it.
Clothing may be a bit weak with de-icer, since the surface friction is strong and the adhesive sticks to the surface. When removing instant adhesive from clothing, it is better to use a highly effective undiluted solution.
Be aware that inhaling vaporized acetone may make you feel sick, and direct contact may cause itching and irritation. It is also important to note that the color of the clothes may fade.
When using an iron, place the adhesive on the clothing between two pieces of gauze and iron at about 60 degrees Celsius to melt the adhesive with the heat. When the adhesive has soaked through, move the gauze out of position. Repeat this 2-3 times to remove it.
